Ie-jima Lily Festival
伊江島ゆり祭りFestivalApril, MayNago & Motobu
The Ie-jima Lily Festival fills Lily Field Park on Ie-jima with white Easter lilies (teppō-yuri) and lilies from around the world from late April into early May. The 29th festival ran from 25 April to 5 May 2026.
Free shuttle buses run from Ie Port to Lily Field Park (リリーフィールド公園) during the festival, and they also stop at Gusuku-yama and the hibiscus garden. The morning ferries from Motobu Port get crowded from 2 to 5 May, so in 2026 the village handed out numbered tickets at Motobu Port from about 7:30 to manage the queue. Food stalls and stage events run through the eleven days.
Worth knowing
- Take the first ferry from Motobu on a weekday before Golden Week if you want the lily field quiet.
