Nakada Port on the east side of Izena-jima is where Izena Village's Ferry Izena Shoen lands from Unten Port in Nakijin after about 55 minutes. It sails twice a day, leaving Izena at 9:00 and 13:30.
Nakada is Izena's main harbour, and the village terminal here sells ferry tickets and takes car bookings. The ferry runs twice a day on the village's year-round timetable. Okinawa Prefecture's port report also says a small boat runs from Uchibana Port on Izena's north side across to Noho Port off Iheya. We found no current timetable for that crossing in October 2026.
