Minna Kaiun's New Wing Minna II crosses from Toguchi Port in Motobu to Minna-jima in 15 minutes for ¥1,050 one way, three times a day each way from November to March.

Minna is a very small island off Motobu, in its operator's words, and the boat leaves from Toguchi in Motobu town. In winter the boat makes three round trips, at 9:00, 13:00 and 16:00 from Toguchi, coming back half an hour later each time.
The company's wave limit is 1.0 m at either port, low enough that a winter northerly can stop the boat. Minna Kaiun doesn't mention bicycles, so call before you bring one.
