DRIFTER sits ten minutes' walk from Zamami Port at 851-2 Zamami, beside its own lodging, Kanusuba Zamami. The full day paddles out to coral gardens off the uninhabited islands with lunch on a beach or at a rest house, and confident paddlers can book a longer tour that crosses to Aka and Geruma. The team also guides around Ojima in the south of the main island under the Kerama Kayak Center name.
The English booking site lists every tour with its price and timing, and a day-tripper from Naha can do the half day between the morning ferry and the 15:00 boat home. DRIFTER is a member boat of the Zamami Whale Watching Association, and in winter its whale trips depart once the spotters on the lookouts have found the whales.
