Funakura no Sato is a Yaeyama regional-cuisine restaurant in old-house style on the west side of Ishigaki town that serves set dinners with sanshin music and soba at lunch, and it closes on Wednesdays.

The Ishigaki City Tourism Association's listing says the restaurant aims to bring taste, people, flowers, wind and sun together to the sound of the sanshin. Tabelog reviewers describe red-tiled buildings and set menus of island dishes in the evening and soba and rice bowls at lunch. It is open all day, which helps on a late arrival.
