Tofu no Higa is a breakfast-only tofu maker on the north edge of Ishigaki town that serves yushi tofu sets from 6:30 to 10:00 except on Sundays, and Tabelog named it one of its 100 best diners in 2024.

The shop makes its own tofu and serves it warm as yushi tofu, with the soft curds still in their own liquid, in sets of several sizes with rice, along with tofu champuru and a miso and soy-milk version. Tabelog listed it among its 100 best diners in 2024, and the reviews keep coming through 2026. It opens at 6:30, which suits an early start before a ride north, and the car park in front holds about ten cars. Visitors can also try making tofu.
