The Yoron Marathon is a full and half marathon on Yoron's outer island road, starting and finishing on the Chabana coast; the 33rd edition is on Sunday 29 November 2026, with about 800 places at ¥10,000.
The full marathon starts at 9:00 with a seven-hour limit and the half at 11:00 with five hours, and there are ten drink stations and markers every 5 km. Full-marathon runners must be 18 or older and out of high school, and the half is open from junior-high age.
Riders on Yoron that weekend will share the island's outer road with runners from 9:00 into the afternoon of 29 November, so plan a ride for the Saturday or the Monday instead. The tourism association offered homestays and camping for runners from 28 to 30 November, and the homestays and pitched tents had sold out by October.
