Japan Transocean Air is the Naha-based JAL group airline that flies Boeing 737-800s from Naha to Ishigaki, Miyako and Kume-jima and from several mainland cities to Okinawa, and it carries a bicycle free inside JAL's 20 kg domestic allowance.
JTA flies the jet routes inside Okinawa. In August 2026 it flew Naha–Ishigaki on its own and shared Naha–Miyako and Naha–Kume-jima with RAC, by its own monthly report. Its mainland routes link Naha with Kansai, Fukuoka, Chubu, Okayama and Komatsu, and Kansai with Ishigaki and Miyako.
