The Naha Port passenger terminal in Tsudo-cho, about 10–15 minutes' walk from Asahibashi station, is where the A-Line and Marix Line ferries for Motobu, Yoron and Kagoshima leave at 7:00 each morning, and the Kumejima Ocean Jet sails for Kume-jima; it's a different harbour from Tomari Port.
Naha has two ferry harbours, and they're easy to confuse. Tomari Port handles the Kerama and Kume Shosen boats. The terminal building at Tsudo-cho 2-1 handles the overnight ferries to Yoron, Amami and Kagoshima and the Kumejima Ocean Jet. A-Line's northbound check-in runs 5:45–6:30 for the 7:00 departure, and it asks passengers to finish by 6:00 because the counter gets crowded.
