Naha Airport (OKA) sits 13 minutes by Yui Rail from Kencho-mae in central Naha, and its single passenger terminal handles domestic, inter-island and international flights, with expressway buses to Nago and the Churaumi Aquarium, the resort limousine and the rental-car shuttles all leaving from stops outside domestic arrivals.

Domestic and inter-island flights share one building. The present domestic terminal opened in 1999 and folded in the old inter-island terminal, so the JTA and RAC hops to the outer islands check in at the same third-floor hall as flights to Tokyo. A five-storey connecting building opened on 18 March 2019 and joined it to the international terminal; international check-in moved there, along with Peach and the Yuinichi Street shops. JAL group flights use the southern pier, ANA group flights the northern one. You land on the ground floor, where the bus stops, the taxi rank and the rental-car shuttles are, and the monorail and car park connect on the second floor.
JTA and RAC (jta, rac) carry most of the island traffic, to Miyako (oka-mmy), Ishigaki (oka-ish), Kume-jima (oka-ueo), Yonaguni (oka-ogn) and Yoron in Kagoshima Prefecture (oka-rnj). ANA (ana) also flies to Miyako and Ishigaki, Solaseed (solaseed) to Ishigaki, and Skymark (skymark) to Shimojishima (oka-shi). JAL, ANA, Skymark, Peach, Jetstar and Solaseed (jal, peach, jetstar) fly to the mainland, and the international side lists airlines from Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, mainland China and Southeast Asia.
Yui Rail is the quick way into town, 13 minutes to Kencho-mae and 16 to Makishi. Expressway buses 111 to Nago and 117 to the aquarium leave stop 2, and the limousine and the Yanbaru Express leave stop 1, all outside domestic arrivals. Rental cars wait off the airport: you cross the road from domestic arrivals to the shuttle stop, where staff hold up company boards (Sky Rent-a-car's people stand by sign 11-B), and minibuses take you to the lots in Kagamizu, Gushi and Tomigusuku.
