Tokashiki Port is the village harbour on the east coast of Tokashiki-jima, where Tokashiki Village's Marine Liner (40 minutes) and Ferry Tokashiki (70 minutes) land from Naha's Tomari Port, and village buses run on to Aharen Beach.
Boats from Naha tie up in Tokashiki village on the island's east side, and the beaches lie over the hill to the west. The village runs buses from the port to Aharen, timed around the ferries, with a summer timetable from March to October and a winter one from November to February. No bus goes to Tokashiku Beach, so the village suggests a taxi or a rental car or scooter, and dive shops in the Tokashiku area can pick you up.
The post office in the village has the island's ATM, open 8:45–17:30 on weekdays and 9:00–17:00 on Saturdays, and closed on Sundays and holidays. Aharen has no ATM at all by the village's account.
