Antonio Gaudi
アントニオ・ガウディ24°50′ N 125°09′ EDiveDive: intermediate
Antonio Gaudi is a deep arch dive off Shimoji for Advanced Open Water divers with deep-diving experience; it starts at 25 m and reaches 36 m.
Antonio Gaudi is a cluster of stacked arches that look as if the architect designed them, and the shapes change with your depth and angle. Marea Miyakojima puts the entrance at 25 m and the deepest point at 36 m, and at around 30 m one hole frames a smiley face. Outside the arches, purple anthias hang on the drop-off where the current runs.
The averages run deep, so you need an Advanced card and real experience to 40 m, and Marea suggests the PADI Deep Diver specialty first. No-decompression time drops fast in the second half of the dive; keep an eye on your own computer.

- Short no-decompression time late in the dive; watch your computer
- Current along the outer drop-off
December to March
Marea Miyakojima puts March water at 21–23 °C and recommends at least a 5 mm wetsuit with a hooded vest; in early March 2026 it measured 21 °C where fresh water mixes in at Toriike. The site belongs to the Shimoji area, which Marea runs from September to April because the cliffs shelter it from the north wind.
