Nirai Beach

Nirai Beach is a village-run beach in front of Hotel Nikko Alivila in Yomitan, where the shore rocks were left natural so the sea changes character between low and high tide. Parking is paid, and the marine house books water sports.
Yomitan's tourism association says the hotel was built to leave the coastal rock as it was, which is rare for a resort beach in Okinawa. At low tide the reef rock shows, and at high tide the sea fills in over it. The association also calls the water among the clearest in the prefecture.
