Ou-jima Beach

Ou-jima Beach is the calm, clear-water beach beside Tatami-ishi on Ou-jima, which a bridge joins to Kume-jima, and it has toilets, parking and Ojima Campground next to the sand.
Kumejima Town lists this shore under the name of its rock pavement, Tatami-ishi, and describes calm water that runs very clear. The campground beside it takes day visitors, and the town recommends the beach for stargazing at night. Walk from the sand to the Tatami-ishi columns and the Sea Turtle Museum in a few minutes.
