Yara-hama

Yara-hama is the widest beach on Hatoma, with shallow water and shade on the island's west side, and the Taketomi Town Tourism Association recommends it for sunset. Like every Hatoma beach it is not an official swimming beach.
The Taketomi Town Tourism Association calls Yara-hama the broadest beach on Hatoma, with shallow, calm water and trees for shade, and it faces west into the sunset. You reach it on foot or by rental bike from the port.
Hatoma's water has its own name, Hatoma blue, and none of the island's beaches is an official swimming beach.
