Hau Tree is a gelato shop two streets behind Euglena Mall that mixes fruit into gelato on a marble slab chilled to −20 °C; Tabelog named it one of Japan's 100 best ice cream shops in 2023 and 2026, and it closes for December and January.
Staff fold fresh fruit into the gelato on a frozen marble slab while you watch. Hau Tree has been open since 2007. For a February trip note the short winter hours, 13:30 to 17:30, after a two-month closure.
