Kamai is the Iriomote word for wild boar, and this izakaya builds its menu round it with Yaeyama awamori and Orion beer, as its Tabelog listing puts it. Reviewers in August and September 2025 and August 2026 name the kamai champuru and the goat sashimi. It sends a car for guests in the evening, and guests staying at Komi or Yubu can ask for a pick-up the day before if three or more are coming. It shuts on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
What to order
- Kamai (wild boar) champuru
- Goat sashimi, if you like it
