Marukami sits two minutes by road from the Ryugu-jo observatory, down a narrow lane on Kurima. Reviewers in September 2026 describe a light, rich bonito broth and the house soba with three-layer pork, and several skipped hotel breakfast to sign up early. You have to visit before ten to put your name on the board, so plan the morning around it. Ride over the 1,690 m Kurima Ohashi early to sign up, then loop the island while you wait.
