Orion Happy Park runs guided tours of Orion Beer's Nago brewery, about 10 minutes north of the Kyoda interchange; it closes on Sundays and Mondays and takes online bookings until 16:00 the day before.
Orion was founded in 1957 and still brews here in Nago, and the tour walks you through the plant with a guide before a tasting of beer straight from the line. Tours run in Japanese, with printed guides in English, Korean and Chinese. Drivers get soft drinks, and so does anyone between elementary school age and 19.
The beer restaurant Yanbaru no Mori serves The Draft and light food, plus small-batch craft beer when the brewers have some. Come on a rest day, since the tour ends with a beer tasting.
