Ryugu is a reservation-only seafood restaurant in the Irabu settlement that cooks Miyako fish in an ocean-themed room.

Ryugu works only at dinner, and reviewers from late 2025 to August 2026 describe an ocean-themed room and seafood you will not find on the menus in Hirara. Several returned after a year or two. Book before you arrive on the island. It is the special-occasion dinner for anyone staying on Irabu or Shimoji.
