Ufuya serves Agu pork soba at lunch and Agu shabu-shabu at dinner in a farmhouse more than 100 years old in the forest above Nago.

The red-tiled roof sits half-hidden in the trees, and you eat on tatami in a traditional house looking out at the courtyard. Ufuya says its Agu soba was born here, and the thing to come for is the fat of the Agu pig, which melts quickly and tastes clean. Dinner centres on shabu-shabu, booked online for two or more.
A sweets workshop and a coffee bar sit in the grounds. The restaurant posted a notice about works on its first car park in September 2026, so check the site before you drive up.
