Zhyvago Coffee Works is a coffee stand on the Depot Island seafront in Chatan's American Village, opened in August 2015 by an owner inspired by Portland, Oregon. It sits on the seawall promenade, which makes it an easy coffee stop on a ride.
The owner travelled to Portland in 2014 and came back to build a stand that mixes Okinawa's west coast with America's, with an industrial fit-out and every cup made by hand. It opened on 8 August 2015 and still lists with Chatan's tourism association. Take the coffee out to the benches along the seawall.
