The 38th edition takes over northern Okinawa for a weekend, with the Nago main venue at its heart and roads closed around it from about 06:00 on the Sunday. Saturday belongs to the rides: the 163 km Yanbaru Century Ride round the northern coast, a 90 km gourmet ride down the west coast to Onna, Kin and Ginoza, the bridges loop to Kouri, and island rides on Ie-jima and Iheya. The 325 km island loop starts Saturday and finishes Sunday afternoon.
Sunday is race day. Citizen racers start in waves from Nago, the Kunigami roadside station and Oku, and the pros race 200 km in a UCI Asia Tour event the organizer calls the symbol of the weekend. Entries for 2026 closed on 19 September, so a visitor who wants a place should watch for entries opening in late July of the following year.
