Okinawan craft beer runs from Helios in Nago and Chatan Harbor Brewery on the Chatan waterfront to small brewers such as MAHOWBREW in Naha's Tsuboya district and IslandBrewing in Hirara on Miyako. The big local brewer Orion makes its own craft line called 75 Beer.

Helios Shuzo in Nago brews beer and distils rum, and since 1 November 2025 it has poured them at Helios Pub in the food hall of Palette Kumoji, linked by walkway to Yui Rail Kencho-mae Station. Chatan Harbor Brewery brews Chatan Beer behind glass in the middle of its waterfront restaurant at Mihama. In Tsuboya, MAHOWBREW opened a 12-seat taproom in 2021 and began brewing there under its own licence in June 2024, and it leans towards sours and IPAs.
The islands brew too. IslandBrewing in Hirara pours Miyako-brewed beer from noon, which suits a rider coming in off the Irabu loop, and Kumejimarl Café on Kume-jima's east coast sells a craft beer called KUMEJIMA612 that is brewed with deep-sea water. In Sunabe, the Beer Rize pub keeps 11 Japanese beers on tap, among them the Okinawan brewery Wolf Bräu. Orion's own 75 Beer takes its name from Nago, read as seven-five.
