MAHOWBREW is a craft brewery and 12-seat taproom about 8 minutes' walk from Yui Rail Asato Station on Himeyuri-dori in Naha's Tsuboya pottery district, and Tabelog reviewers know it for sours and IPAs. It opens from 18:00 on weekdays and 15:00 at weekends, and closes on Tuesdays.
MAHOWBREW opened its taproom in October 2021 and gained its brewing licence on 24 June 2024, so the beer now comes from Tsuboya, where Okinawan yachimun pottery began. The brewery says it wants beer as bold and bright as the local pottery. Recent releases on its site include a gose called Cordelia and a stout named V.I.T.R.I.Ø.L III, and an August 2025 Tabelog reviewer called it a new-generation sour brewery.
Food is short and sturdy. A March 2025 reviewer recommends the Cuban Sandwich Special on house-baked Cuban bread and a Party Pack A of fried chicken with six sauces to choose from. With 12 seats and a 10% service charge it suits a small group, and the 15:00 weekend opening fits a ride that ends on Naha's south side.
