Nagamahama Beach
長間浜24°44′ N 125°14′ EBeach
Nagamahama is a 1 km undeveloped beach on the west side of Kurima where nothing has been built, and it is the island's sunset spot.
Nagamahama runs for about 1 km along the west side of Kurima, and nobody has built anything on it. There are no toilets, showers, kiosks or car park, and the tourism association asks visitors not to park where they block others. That makes it the one beach on this list where arriving by bike is the easy option.
Waves rise when the wind swings west, and there is no lifeguard, so swim only on calm days and never alone. On a clear evening the sun drops straight into the sea in front of you.
