The co-op's Aka counter makes marlin and squid bowls from the local catch, and in August 2026 every bowl cost ¥1,000 in cash. There is one table outside, so most people carry the bowl down to Maehama or out to Nishibama. Reserve when it opens if you plan to come back at lunchtime.
