Its full name is Kerama Islands Tourist Lodge Hanamuro Inn, and it describes itself as a simple, small island inn. The house has six rooms and its own café, and meals come to the dining room or to your room. Aka port is two or three minutes away on foot, so the inn runs no pickup.
A rental bicycle from the inn gets you round Aka's village and over the bridge to Geruma; pay for bike hire in cash. Guests must be five or older. The inn tells guests to book the ferry early because boats fill in season. Wi-Fi is free, and there's a coin laundry for salty clothes.
