Ichitaka is a large dinner restaurant in Uehara on Iriomote that bakes pizza in a stone oven and cooks island fish, wild boar, pineapple and mango, with a free evening shuttle to most hotels.
Ichitaka gets round Iriomote's lack of taxis by collecting its dinner guests from their hotels, except in some outlying areas, so book a time and a pick-up together. The Taketomi Town tourism association describes a kitchen built on island ingredients, from fish and wild boar to pineapple and mango, with pizza from a stone oven, and it seats groups of 50 to 60. Tabelog reviewers from June to August 2026 call it the obvious choice for a last night on the island; one was on a fourth visit. It also does takeaway.
