Taco rice started in Kin in 1984, and this shop in the Shinkaichi bar district outside Camp Hansen is where people come to eat it close to the source. You buy a ticket at the machine and collect a plate of seasoned beef, cheese and shredded lettuce piled over rice. Ketchup or the house hot sauce goes on top. Tabelog reviewers from August to October 2026 keep writing about the size of the portions. Seating runs to 40 places upstairs and on a ground-floor terrace that doubles as the smoking area, and an August 2026 reviewer who arrived at 11:30 bought a ticket without queuing.
