The owner spent about 50 years in the meat trade in Osaka and buys only A5 and A4 grades, mostly Miyazaki beef and Kagoshima black beef. Because he knows the trade, he says, the prices stay lower than you would expect for A5. The shop sits among the old houses and greenery of Henza village; besides its six spaces, neighbours lend a few more when it is busy.
