Parlor Minpika is a shaved-ice stand on the road between Nishihama and Hateruma village, open 13:30–16:00, three minutes by bicycle from the beach.

Minpika is the afternoon stop on Hateruma: it opens at 13:30, as the beach gets hot, and closes at 16:00. The stand has room for bicycles and motorbikes only, which tells you how its customers arrive, five minutes by bike from the port or three from Nishihama. Tabelog reviewers from July 2024 to March 2025 come for the shaved ice and the curry rice, and some have been back five times. Cash only.
