Shima Soba Ichibanchi is a Yaeyama soba specialist a block from Euglena Mall that stays open for dinner, which few soba counters in town do, with soba from ¥715 on its 2026 menu.

Ichibanchi opened in 2005 and became a Yaeyama soba specialist in 2007. The menu works through the island bowls, from plain shima soba to mozuku seaweed and slow-cooked pork belly, with juushii and jimami tofu on the side. The first floor has tables and a counter, and the second floor has raised tatami seating.
