Usagiya is a min'yo izakaya in central Ishigaki where sanshin players perform up close every night from 18:00, with a ¥300 table charge and ¥800 live charge on top of a long Okinawan menu.

Usagiya's live sets fill the room, and the restaurant describes the mood as everyone joining in together. The menu covers the Okinawan standards, from zaru mozuku and sea grapes to champuru, and adds Ishigaki beef nigiri and gyoza. It seats 60, with tatami rooms as well as a counter, and a second branch, Usagiya Shinkan, stands in town too.
