Yakiniku Watanabe is the farm co-operative JA's own Ishigaki beef restaurant on the second floor of a Misaki-cho building, and it grills over charcoal for guests who book, mostly on courses with a 10% service fee.

Watanabe carries the JA name, and its menu reads like a tour of the animal: strip loin, zabuton, top blade, heart and tongue, and all of it is Ishigaki beef. Most guests take a course. Families with young children can book only the early evening slots, so plan around that if you travel with small kids.
