The uni comes piled in large pieces, and the set adds mozuku miso soup, mozuku, namasu, pickles and a coffee jelly. The room is tatami and feels like a country house, and about 70% of the guests one July 2026 reviewer counted were from overseas. A September 2026 diner worried about arriving after the fishing season closed at the end of August and got a full bowl anyway. Ask whether fresh uni is on before ordering between December and March. Shirasa also runs a minshuku.
What to order
- Uni-don set
- Sashimi set meal for a lighter bill
