BATON SUITE opened on Kouri-jima on 27 March 2025, the first resort from the Roynet hotel group, and every one of its 35 rooms is an ocean-view suite. The villa suites add a private sauna and jacuzzi, and they are the only rooms that take dogs. Mornings start with yoga. Jalan's guest awards ranked it first for service and second for breakfast among Okinawa hotels of 50 rooms or fewer.
The outdoor pool closes from November to March, so a winter stay leans on the villa saunas and the sea view. The drive from the airport takes about 90 minutes by expressway and the Kouri Bridge. For riders the island's loop road starts at the door, and Yagaji and the Nakijin coast are across the bridge. Ask the hotel about keeping your bike.
