Yuikaji is a sanshin live-music izakaya on the second floor of a Misaki-cho building in central Ishigaki, and since 2013 it has opened from 18:00 every night except Tuesdays.
Yuikaji puts island songs on stage and island ingredients on the plate, from adan shoot tempura to a Yaeyama soba take on spaghetti Neapolitan. It sits in Misaki-cho, which is the bar district by the ferry terminal. Book a table if you want the stage view.
