Two village boats make the crossing, and they leave from opposite sides of Tomari harbour. Ferry Zamami 3 loads in front of the Tomarin building on the south bank. The Queen Zamami 3 goes from the north bank, about 10 minutes' walk away. On the winter 2026/27 timetable the ferry calls at Aka first and reaches Zamami two hours after leaving Naha, and the Queen's 9:00 run lands on Zamami at 9:50 with the whole day ahead.
The Queen Zamami 3 is in dock from 20 October to 3 December 2026, and until then Ferry Zamami 3 is the only boat from Naha. From 4 December the village's timetables show the Queen twice a day and the ferry once, with the ferry leaving Zamami at 14:00. That gives a ferry day-tripper two hours on the island. February and March 2027 timetables hadn't been published when we checked in October 2026, and the village posts each month as a PDF on its ship page.
A rider has the simpler time on the ferry. It takes the bike as cargo for ¥430. Hand it in at least 30 minutes before sailing. The Queen takes a bike only packed in a rinko bag, counted as one of your two items, each limited to 2 m in total dimensions and 30 kg.
