The Taketomi tourism association lists Oceans as Hateruma's only hotel, and its rentals are one of several options on the island. The e-bike shop Nemo Jitensha is lending only to its own guests at present and points other visitors to Kumanomi, Hoshi Rental, Nishihamaso Rental, Oceans and House Minami.
The island's loop road runs about 10 km by Nemo's count, and the village sits on a rise above the low coast, so rides out to the Southernmost Point monument or Nishihama finish with a climb. Ask Oceans whether an electric bike is free when you phone.
