Pottering Okinawa's fleet runs from a 380 mm Anchor to a 560 mm Giant Contend, with the full-carbon Felt Z4 and Colnago at the top. Day rates fall the longer you keep the bike, to ¥3,000 on the third day for the alloy bikes, and starting from the shop's own base in Heitoku takes ¥2,000 off. Every rental comes with a helmet, lights, a pump, a spare tube and a cycle computer, and the stem can be changed to fit.
Clipless riders get SPD-SL or SPD pedals fitted for free if they bring shoes. For race weekends the shop changes tires and brakes for ¥3,000 and rents Dura-Ace C50 wheels at ¥5,000 a day. Its guided group ride pairs a local guide with a support car carrying lunch and drinks, for ¥12,000 a head on a rental bike or ¥3,000 on your own, before tax.
