Ie-jima by ferry and rental bike

This Ie-jima day takes the 9:00 ferry from Motobu, rides the 19 km island loop on a rental bike past Lily Field Park and the cliffs at Wajii, climbs the 291 steps of Gusuku-yama on foot and catches the 16:00 ferry home.

Ie-jima is a half-hour ferry ride from Motobu Port, and the 9:00 out and 16:00 back give a full day on the island. TM Planning, which the village lists with 240 bikes, rents near the port, so you don't need your own.
Ride the loop in the morning while it is cool and climb Gusuku-yama after lunch for the view over the whole island. Hilton Okinawa Sesoko is a short drive from Motobu Port across the Sesoko bridge.
