The beach sits on the south shore close to the ferry, so it suits a swim before the boat home. OpenStreetMap lists the beach facility as open 9:00–18:00 daily, with Green Beach Iejima's cottages and a branch of I-jima Tunga behind it.
Ride over from the port on a rented bike: TM Planning in Kawahira rents them for ¥400 an hour or ¥1,000 a day.
December to March
The beach faces south, away from the winter north wind, so it makes the sheltered stop on a February loop of the island.
