Kurima is the gentlest of Miyako's bridged islands, and our route data puts the loop from Maehama at 12 km with 86 m of climbing, which an e-bike barely notices. A stronger rider can push hard up the bridge while the other cruises, and the observatory is where you regroup.
Okinawa Soba Marukami takes names on a whiteboard before it opens, so sign up as you arrive on the island, ride the loop and come back hungry. In February the north-north-east wind meets you on the bridge home, and Maehama is waiting at the far end of it.
