The museum keeps live sea turtles in a big tank, with shell specimens, turtle panels and a quiz, a video hall and a goods corner, and it runs touch and feeding sessions at events. Its hatchling tank was not on display when the museum last updated its floor guide. The tourism association lists it as a rainy-day stop, and it sits a few minutes' walk from Tatami-ishi and the beach.
