UDS runs both Strata and Hotel Anteroom Naha, and here it dressed 214 rooms in Okinawan crafts and artwork. One special room on an upper floor has glass on three sides and a double-height ceiling that looks out over the city. Miebashi Station is 30 seconds away and Kokusai-dori about eight minutes on foot. The hotel puts a taxi from the airport at about 15 minutes and roughly ¥1,810.
The courtyard is planted to look like a Ryukyu forest around a 14-metre pool, and the pool is shut from November until April. Winter guests still have the 24-hour gym on the second floor, free with the room. Riders heading for the Kerama ferries are about eight minutes by car from Tomarin, and the station at the door makes a bike-bag transfer from the airport simple. Ask the front desk about keeping a bike, since the hotel doesn't say.
