Tasokare opened in March 2013 beside the monorail line, and a May 2024 Tabelog reviewer noted how early it opens by Okinawan standards and how busy it is from the start. Iced coffee comes in a choice of single origins; that reviewer took the staff's pick and drank a Guatemala. An April 2023 visitor ordered a croque madame built on house-made whole-wheat sourdough raised with raisin yeast and topped with home-made ham and a fried egg.
A June 2025 reviewer on an eighth visit says they buy beans when the tables are full, and that day ordered the iced kokuto café latte made with Okinawan brown sugar. Another described old, worn tables and chairs in a room with a Ryukyu feel. With Thursdays, Sundays and holidays off, Saturday is the weekend morning that works.
What to order
