The Terrace Hotels group runs The Busena Terrace in Nago, and The Naha Terrace is its city hotel, with 145 rooms in Omoromachi, which grew up as the newer business and shopping district north of the old centre. Kokusai-dori is a short taxi ride away. From the airport it takes about 20 minutes by car, or the Yui Rail to Makishi and a five-minute taxi. Its butler service suits a first or last night on the island.
The second-floor pool sits in tropical planting and runs April to November, so expect it closed over winter. The men's sauna costs extra unless you're on a club floor, and there is no sauna for women. For riders the useful part is the butler desk, which holds bags and boxes sent ahead under the booking name. Marine activities are booked through the sister hotel in Nago.
