Minna is a low crescent of sand and reef off the Motobu Peninsula, and from the air it looks enough like a croissant that people call it Croissant Island. A little over 40 people live there. The Motobu Tourism Association singles out the beach on the island's west side for the beauty of its sand.
The boat leaves Toguchi port, close to Kishimoto Shokudo, so a soba lunch before or after fits the day. Bring everything you need for the beach from the mainland, and check the sailing times with Minna Kaiun the day before, since sea conditions can change them.
