W Arch
Wアーチ24°50′ N 125°10′ EDiveDive: beginner
W Arch is a summer dive off Irabu where twin arches frame a heart, and Marea Miyakojima rates it for Open Water divers with a maximum depth of 11–18 m.
W Arch takes its name from two arches side by side, and from the right angle the gap between them forms a heart. A dark cave below shelters dense schools of soldierfish and painted spiny lobsters. Marea Miyakojima rates it for Open Water divers with a maximum depth of 11–18 m.
This is the gentle terrain dive for newer divers, and it runs in the summer pattern when the south wind leaves Irabu's coast calm.
